This lecture is presented by Ms. Apoorva Gupta, Asst. Professor of Biyani International Institute of Engineering And Technology. Transformers are static devices who transfer electric power from one circuit to another with changed voltage levels but keeping the system frequency constant. They are of two types step up and step down. Transformer has two windings one is primary and other is secondary winding and these are both placed in the transformer tank.
