Speed control of electrical drives are the control system used for controlling the speed of the electrical drives which can be any motor or generator etc..Control of the electrical devices is very important for the proper working of the derive system and there are basically five blocks in the control system.

Base load plants supply the electric power constantly through the 24 hours of the day while the peak load plant supply the electric power only during the peak hours of the day and they generally supply the load for 4 to 8 hours of the day which is generally from 10 am in the morning to 4 pm in the evening.
