This video is about the chemical composition of chromosome, which consists of chiefly of DNA, Histone and Non- Histone Proteins. DNA,the Polynucleotide, is the sole genetic material of the organism. Five kinds of Histone proteins help in structural organization of the chromosome and they are highly conserved during evolution among species. There are about 20 Non Histone proteins having regulatory functions.
