Fixed assets are not held for resale but for the production, supply, rental or administrative purposes. These assets are expected to be used for more than one accounting period. This video is also helpful to know the concept of depreciation. Depreciation (depletion of fixed assets) means permanent and gradually decreases in the value of fixed assets.
