1. Start with a positive and fresh mind. Imagine becoming successful. Einstein said that “Imagination is more important than knowledge”. The more vividly and accurately you imagine your success, the easier it will be for the rest of yourself to follow through. The same way engineers first imagine a bridge and then build it, you can be the engineer of your success, too.
• Dedicate a few minutes every day to imagining your success. Imagine yourself in a movie in which you are successful. What are you doing in the movie? What is your success like? Savor the feeling of your success, and use it as motivation to stoke your fire.
• Cultivate a healthy motivation when imagining your success. Successful people all believe in themselves and their missions.

2. Find the purpose or goal of your life. Identify the things you love to do, the things that give you satisfaction. Once you identify what you love to do, use this information to find the purpose of your life or the objective of your life.
• Finding what you love to do will give you motivation along the way. Imagine the opportunity to participate in a chess tournament. It’s much, much easier to persistently chip away at your goal if your goal is something you enjoy doing
• How do you figure out a purpose or goal in life? It’s different for everyone, and for some it’s difficult, but there are several ways you can try to figure it out:
• Talk with a career coach or visit a good psychologist.
• Try out several different careers, remembering that even a less-than-fulfilling job can help you learn.
• Try making a career out of something you love. Whether it’s brewing beer or advising on art, you’re more likely to be successful doing something you know you love.

3. Define the meaning of success as you see it. You cannot have success if you do not know what it means for you. Everyone views success differently and using someone else standard for success is like eating another person’s lunch and expecting to love it. Set clear goals and be realistic.
• How will you know when you have achieved your goals? Your standards should be quantifiable, or else you could spend your entire life chasing after a vague goal.
• Create benchmarks: “My goal is to increase my productivity by 30% and only be late for work five times per year, at the most.” These are quantifiable goals that when achieved, give you a sense of satisfaction and completion, making you feel successful and confident.

4. Selectively lower your confidence. Lower your confidence. It’s a truism in business that you need to have high self-confidence to get things done. But some people think, and for good reason, that lower self-confidence makes people more successful, for these reasons:
• Lower self-confidence makes you pay attention to critical feedback and helps you be more self-critical. If you’re convinced you’re God’s gift to engineering, you probably won’t be receptive to feedback. Nor will you be able to criticize yourself effectively. Successful people do exactly that.
• Lower self-confidence makes you work harder and prepare more.
• Lower self-confidence makes you less narcissistic. Less narcissistic people are respected more by co-workers, and happy co-workers make a more successful team. It’s no secret that respect will make you successful.

5. Set a timeline for when you want to achieve your objective. If you don’t know when you will achieve your objective by, then it’s hard to know whether you have failed. Give yourself a timeline that is difficult but doable.

Time management is the act or process of planning and exercising conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency or productivity.
It is a meta-activity with the goal to maximize the overall benefit of a set of other activities within the boundary condition of a limited amount of time.
Time management may be aided by a range of skills, tools, and techniques used to manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects, and goals complying with a due date. Initially, time management referred to just business or work activities, but eventually the term broadened to include personal activities as well. A time management system is a designed combination of processes, tools, techniques, and methods. Time management is usually a necessity in any project development as it determines the project completion time and scope.
The major themes arising from the literature on time management include the following:
• Creating an environment conducive to effectiveness
• Setting of priorities
• Carrying out activity around those priorities
• The related process of reduction of time spent on non-priorities
• Incentives to modify behavior to ensure compliance with time-related deadlines.
Time management has been considered to be a subset of different concepts such as:
• Project management: Time Management can be considered to be a project management subset and is more commonly known as project planning and project scheduling. Time Management has also been identified as one of the core functions identified in project management.[1]
• Attention management: Attention Management relates to the management of cognitive resources, and in particular the time that humans allocate their mind (and organize the minds of their employees) to conduct some activities.

God is giving us plenty. He pours rain to every field .he gives us grains in abundance. He loves us. He takes care of us in the form of parents when we were born. He gives milk in mother’s breast for her baby. When the child grows God comes in the form of teacher and gives us knowledge and helps us to grow beautifully. He gives us family members and friends and so many things to enjoy. Let us be thankful for each and every moment. Let us live in gratitude and count our blessings. Stop complaining and remember one complain will take ten blessings away.
In the world, creation comes forth with ease. A seed doesn’t struggle to become a tree―it simply unfolds in grace.
There are few powerful principles you can use to fulfill your deepest desires with effortless joy. If you put them into practice, you’ll realize that you can get whatever you’ve been dreaming about. You can attract the life of your choice. Let’s practice one principle in one particular day.

Sunday: First principle is The Law of Pure Potentiality
Take time to be silent, to just BE. Meditate for 30 minutes twice a day. Silently witness the intelligence within every living thing. Practice non-judgment. Put all positive thoughts for you like–“-I am an angel. I am a child of God. I am unique .I am special. I am a gift of God .I am here to make someone happy.”

Monday: The Law of Giving
We have plenty to give. We can give happiness, joy, peace without spending a penny. More you give more you will receive.
Today, bring whomever you encounter a gift may be a compliment or “get well soon “card or flower. Gratefully receive gifts. Keep wealth circulating by giving and receiving care, affection, appreciation and love. When you feel like giving your hands will be always full.
Tuesday: The Law of Karma
Every action generates a force of energy that returns to us in like kind. Choosing actions that bring happiness and success to others ensures the flow of happiness and success to you. As you sow so shall you give. Put few grains of wheat and you will get plenty of crops. But don’t put doubt in it.
Wednesday: 
The Law of Least Effort
Accept people, situations, and events as they occur. Take responsibility for your situation and for all events seen as problems. A seed gives plant without any effort. Even birds don’t worry for their grains.
Thursday: 
The Law of Intention and Desire
Inherent in every intention and desire is the mechanics for its fulfillment. Make a list of desires. Trust that when things don’t seem to go your way, there is a reason.
Friday: The Law of Detachment
Allow yourself and others the freedom to be who they are. Do not force solutions—allow solutions to spontaneously emerge. Uncertainty is essential, and your path to freedom.
Saturday: The Law of Dharma
Seek your higher Self. Discover your unique talents. Ask yourself how you are best suited to serve humanity. Using your unique talents and serving others brings unlimited bliss and abundance.

The most momentous mantra in Jainism is Ṇamōkāra mantra .This is the prayer recited by the Jains while meditating. The mantra is also referred to as the Pancha Namaskāra Mantra, Navakāra Mantra or Namaskāra Mantra. While reciting this mantra, the devotee bows with respect to the Panch Parameshti (the Supreme Five) in order of the sanctity of their souls:
1 Those who have cleared their ghati (inimical) karmas (arihants)
2 The fully liberated souls (siddhas)
3 The spiritual leaders or Preceptors (acharyas)
4 The teachers (upajjhayas)
5 The monks or sages in the world
The prayer is done for the guṇa (the good qualities) of the gods, teachers and the saints. Jains don’t believe in any favors or material benefits from the tirthankaras or monastics. This mantra simply serves as a gesture of deep admiration towards beings whom they believe are spiritually ahead, as well as to remind the people of their ultimate goal of life i.e. moksha (liberation).
According to Digambaras and Sthānakavāsīs the first five lines as the main mantra. The following two lines are meant to explain the benefit of reciting the mantra.
“Ṇamō Arihantāṇaṁ” that means “I bow to the Arihants, the Conquerors”
“Ṇamō Siddhāṇaṁ” that means “I bow to the Siddhas”
“Ṇamō Ayariyāṇaṁ” which means “I bow to the Acharyas”
“Ṇamō Uvajjhāyāṇaṁ” that states “I bow to the Upadhyayas”
“Ṇamō Lōē Savva Sāhūṇaṁ” that means “I bow to all the Sages of the world”
“Ēsōpan̄caṇamōkkārō, savvapāvappaṇāsaṇō” which states “This five-fold salutation completely destroys all the sins”
“Maṅgalā ṇaṁ ca savvēsiṁ, paḍamama havaī maṅgalaṁ” that means “And, of all auspicious mantras, (it) is indeed the foremost auspicious one”.

Everyone wants to be happy. But how does happiness came and real meaning of happiness, a very few people knows. Now a day’s all people try to do criticize each other’s and try to make superior ourselves than others by showing them down. By doing so they can never have happiness in their life. In my point of view happiness came when you are happy because you have made somebody else happy. Sometimes doing little things for others can make a big help for them. Its all about we feel happy/good when we are able to smile somebody. Our life is to give others. Whoever is happy will make others happy too. Do not criticize self /anybody / situation. Situation cannot make you happy because happiness does not depend on situation. Happiness will never came to those who don’t appreciate themselves. So always be proud of you by accepting mistakes/ in sufficiency. Be happy always not because everything is good but because you can see the good in everything. The happiest people don’t necessarily have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything they have. Another way to be happy is to have gratitude. If we are grateful to others we feel inner happiness. Happiness is not something readymade it comes from our own actions. Happiness does not depend upon what happens outside of you but on what goes on inside you because the happiness is essential within. Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence. Its never too late to be happy.

Holi is a spring festival, also known as the festival of colours or the festival of sharing love. It is an ancient Hindu religious festival which has become popular with non-Hindus in many parts of South Asia, as well as people of other communities outside Asia.
It is primarily observed in India, Nepal, and other regions of the world with significant populations of Hindus or people of Indian origin. In recent years the festival has spread to parts of Europe and North America as a spring celebration of love, frolic, and colours.
Holi celebrations start on the night before Holi with a Holika bonfire where people gather, sing, dance and party. The next morning is a free-for-all carnival of colours, where participants play, chase and colour each other with dry powder and coloured water, with some carrying water guns and coloured water-filled balloons for their water fight. Anyone and everyone is fair game, friend or stranger, rich or poor, man or woman, children and elders. The frolic and fight with colours occurs in the open streets, open parks, outside temples and buildings. Groups carry drums and other musical instruments, go from place to place, sing and dance. People visit family, friends and foes to throw colour powders on each other, laugh and gossip, then share Holi delicacies, food and drinks. Some drinks are intoxicating. For example, Bhang, an intoxicating ingredient made from cannabis leaves, is mixed into drinks and sweets and consumed by many.In the evening, after sobering up, people dress up and visit friends and family.
Holi is celebrated at the approach of the vernal equinox,on the Phalguna Purnima (Full Moon). The festival date varies every year, per the Hindu calendar, and typically comes in March, sometimes February in the Gregorian Calendar. The festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships, and is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest.
There is a symbolic legend to explain why Holi is celebrated as a festival of colours. The word “Holi” originates from “Holika”, the evil sister of the demon king Hiranyakashipu. The festival itself is believed to have origins from the Prahlada-Puri Temple of Multan in the Punjab region. The original temple of Prahladpuri is said to have been built by Prahlada, Hiranyakashipu’s son.
King Hiranyakashipu, according to legend, was the King of Multan and had earned a boon that made him virtually indestructible. He grew arrogant, thought he was God, and demanded that everyone worship only him.
A number of Holi-inspired social events have also surfaced, particularly in Europe and the United States, often organized by companies as for-profit or charity events with paid admission, and with varying scheduling that does not coincide with the actual Holi festival. These have included Holi-inspired music festivals such as the Festival Of Colours Tour and Holi One (which feature timed throws of Holi powder), and 5K run franchises such as The Color Run and Color Me Rad, in which participants are doused with the powder at per-kilometre checkpoints

A mood is an emotional state, an angry, irritable, or sullen , a temporary state of mind or feeling.Moods differ from emotions, feelings or affects in that they are less specific, less intense, and less likely to be triggered by a particular stimulus or event. Moods are typically described as having either a positive or negative valence.
Our mood can play a significant role in how we live our lives. When we are happy, we tend to concentrate on the good things and ignore the negative aspects of things that happen around us. Similarly, when we are sad, we may be unable to think of anything but those negative aspects, to the extent that we may avoid the people or the activities that would help to mitigate the sadness and banish the mood.
Most of us experience quite intense moods in response to the events that occur in our lives. Some people, however, experience such dramatic ups and downs that they find it difficult to enjoy a good quality of life. These dramatic swings in mood may be extreme responses to external events, or they may have their origin in internal changes in the body’s chemistry.

Mood disorders
When mood swings are problematic, it could signify the presence of a mood disorder. There are several mood disorders, among them chronic depression, major depressive disorder and manic–depressive disorder (sometimes called bipolar disorder). The first two are characterized by periods of depressed mood interspersed with periods of normal mood. The third encompasses both downswings and upswings, and in the extreme these can take the form of cycles of very severe depression changing very rapidly to mania.
Symptoms of depression may include:
• insomnia (or increased sleep)
• reduced (or increased) appetite
• feelings of worthlessness
• recurrent thoughts of death

In its simplest sense, corruption may be defined as an act of bribery or misuse of public position or power for the fulfillment of selfish motives or to gain personal gratifications. It has also been defined as “Misuse of authority as a result of consideration of personal gain which need not be monetary”. Legally corruption is defined as “use of public power for private advantage in ways which transgresses some formal rule or law”.
Corruption is not a malady of modern age. History is replete with instances where Judas have received bribes in the ancient civilizations of Egypt, Babylon and Jewish society. Bribery was very common in Roman Empire as well as in France during the fifteenth century. England was described as a ‘sink-hole’ of corruption in the seventeenth century and Gibbon described it as the most infallible symptom of constitutional liberty in the nineteenth century. Even Chanakaya has mentioned cases of embezzlement by government officials. During the British Rule, bribes were accepted not only by the Indian officials but even by the highly placed British officials. Lord Clive and Warren Hastings were tried by a parliamentary committee after their return to England. Thus, corruption is not only an age-old malady but a global problem too.
Various laws have been framed from time to time to prevent or at least reduce corruption. The Prevention of Corruption Act came into force in September 1988. It was an improvisation of the Act of 1947. The scope of the 1988 Act was enlarged and widened to include the term ‘public servants’. Thus if an offence against a public servant is proved in the court there will be imprisonment of not less than 6 months upto 5 years and also the person may be fined.
Corruption is not a uniquely Indian phenomenon. It is witnessed all over the world in developing as well as developed countries. It has spread its tentacles in every sphere of life, namely business administration, politics, officialdom, and services. In fact, there is hardly any sector which can be characterised for not being infected with the vices of corruption. Corruption is rampant in every segment and every section of society, barring the social status attached to it. Nobody can be considered free from corruption from a high ranking officer.

he steps should be taken to correct the situation overall. Declarations of property and assets of the government employees are made compulsory and routine and surprise inspections and raids be conducted at certain intervals.
Though it seerris very difficult to control corruption but it is not impossible. It is not only the responsibility of the government but ours too. We can eliminate corruption if there will be joint effort. We must have some high principles to follow so that we may be models for the coming generation. Let us take a view to create an atmosphere free from corruption. That will be our highest achievement as human beings.

Introduction: Poverty refers to a situation when people are deprived of basic necessities of life. It is often characterized by inadequacy of food, shelter and clothes.India is one of the poorest countries in the world. Many Indian people do not get two meals a day. They do not have good houses to live in. Their children do not get proper schooling.Poor people are the depressed and deprived class. They do not get proper nutrition and diet. Their conditions have not sufficiently improved even long after over 65 years of our Independence.
Poverty in urban India: Just like most of the growing and developing countries, there has been continuous increase in Urban population.
• Poor people migrate from rural areas to cities and towns in search of employment/financial activity.
• The income of more than 8 crore urban people is estimated to fall below poverty line (BPL).
• In addition to this, there are around 4.5 crore urban people whose income level is on borderline of poverty level.
• A income of urban poors is highly unstable. A large number of them are either casual workers or self-employed.
• Banks and Financial institutions are reluctant to provide them loan because of the unstable income.
Poverty in rural India: It is said that rural India is the heart of India. In reality, the life of people living in rural areas is marked with severe poverty. Inspite of all the efforts, the condition of poor villagers is far from satisfactory. The report on Socio-economic and Caste Census (2011) reveal the following facts:
• Deprived: Around 48.5 percent of rural households are deprived according to the census.
• Assets: Only 11.04 percent of families own a refrigerator while there is a vehicle (including two-wheeler, boat, etc. )in around 29.69 percent of the rural houses.
• Income Tax: Only 4.58 percent of rural households pay income tax.
• Land ownership: Around 56 percent of village households doesn’t own a land.
• Size of rural houses: The houses of around 54 percent rural families consists of either one or two-rooms. Out of them, around 13 percent lives in a one-room house.
Solutions
We have to solve this problem of India’s poverty.
• Farmers must get all facilities for irrigation.
• They should be trained and educated.
• Agriculture must be made profitable.
• The ever-rising population should be checked.
• Family planning schemes should be introduced.
• More and more industries should be set up to meet the needs of our country.
Conclusion
Poverty is a national problem and it must be solved on a war footing. The government is taking a number of steps to mitigate poverty. Eradication of poverty would ensure a sustainable and inclusive growth of economy and society. We all should do everything possible and within our limits to help alleviate poverty from our country.
