It moves from slave and commodity concept to efficiency and design of work in the early part Slave on Commodity concept says that before industrial revolution, labour was treated as a commodity or slave there were no fair wages, no healthy working conditions and no protection given to labour. It is converted into partner concept, which says that better quality of working life is offered to employees. People are given opportunities to exploit their potential fully.
